Sponsorship opportunities are available for our annual spotlight event, The James Island Connector Run. Every November, this race is held in Charleston to raise money and awareness for the charity. Platinum Medalist/Presenting Sponsor: $2,500

Donations

You can help make "Education Within Reach" for a South Carolina student pursuing a college education despite physical limitations. Donations for the Gavalas-Kolanko Foundation are welcome year-round, and benefit the annual GKF Scholarship.

Volunteer Opportunities

The James Island Connector Run (JICR)

The James Island Connector Run, "The Race For Everyone," is the GKF's annual spotlight event. The race is held every November, and has a turnout of over 500 participants. This year's race incorporates two wheelchair divisions: the 10K "Rollers" and 5K Open Wheelchair Division. It's a great fundraiser, community event, and celebration of what the GKF is all about!

Volunteers are needed for set-up & teardown, registration, handing out water on-course, etc. If you would like to help out on race day, contact at 843-442-5628 or dana@gkfoundation.org. Please let her know your name and phone number. All volunteers receive an official JICR T-shirt. See you at the starting line!
