
The 11th Annual James Island Connector Run

Held in honor of all students with
disabilities,
proceeds from the Saturday morning race benefit the Gavalas
Kolanko Foundation (GKF), a local charity that awards
annual scholarships to students with disabilities.

The Run
As one of Charleston’s most unique
races for charity, The James Island Connector Run brings
runners from around the region to experience one of the
most scenic race courses in the southeastcovering the span
of the James Island Connector overlooking the beautiful
Ashley River and the historic downtown peninsula of Charleston,
S.C.
The Details
The 10K Run or 5K Walk, both regular
and wheelchair divisions, will be on Saturday morning
starting at 8 a.m. The Awards Ceremony and post-race
celebration follows at 10:00 a.m. Results will be posted
at On the Run, 920-A9 Houston Northcutt Boulevard, Mount
Pleasant, SC. Over 100 awards will be presented.
All proceeds benefit the Gavalas-Kolanko
Foundation.
